May I bring a guest? Do they have to register/RSVP?
Yes, you may bring a guest. Your guest(s) should RSVP only if they are interested in attending the Graduate School.

Do I have to attend for the entire time (6:30-8:00 pm)?
The Open House is a graduate fair. You may attend at any time between 6:30 and 8:00 pm.

I'm coming from outside of New York City. What is the best way to get to the Open House?

Will NYU pay for my travel expenses? What about visas for those outside the US?
We are sorry but NYU cannot pay for your travel expenses or help you obtain a visa for attending this event.
 
I'm interested in a Ph.D. program. Is there a Ph.D. Open House?
This Open House focuses on the Graduate School's master's programs. You can contact your department of interest for more information on Ph.D. programs.

I cannot attend this Open House. When is the next one?
The Graduate School holds one comprehensive master's Open House each year. The next Open House will be in the fall of 2009. Some individual departments may hold their own events at other times during the year. Please contact your program of interest.

Why isn't my program or department of interest listed?
Not all departments and programs in the Graduate School will be at the Open House. If your area of interest is not listed, you can contact them for more information about applying.

Will master's programs from other schools at NYU (Tisch School of the Arts, Steinhardt, etc.) be at the Open House?
No. Please contact those schools directly for information about their programs.
